fresh cut from the garden

Spring is here.  The snow has finally melted, the sun is shining, it's a warm 80 and everything is starting to bloom.  One of my favorite things about this time of year is fresh cut flowers.  It's an easy way to add life and beauty into any room.

One of the earliest flowers to bloom is the Daffodil.  They have such unique color variations.  I love a simple monochrome display of all white.  But then I had some fun and picked the most colorful unique ones.  

These flowers are everywhere so go out, have some fun and bring some life back inside!

Happy Spring?

With what feels like the longest winter ever, I am really looking forward for spring.  Last weekend it got up into the 70's and all the flowers were in bloom, today it snowed all day.  I love the snow and it's been one of the most beautiful winters I can remember but it's been a roller coaster of temperatures and now I'm ready for warmer weather to stay.
